Kierra is a multidisciplinary artist based in Chicago, IL, working at the intersection of poetry, 3D art and animation, and digital media. Her practice is rooted in storytelling, using haunting, atmospheric imagery to explore the complexities of Black femininity. Influenced by the horror genre, her work often feels like a soliloquy—intimate, eerie, and emotionally layered.

Through her characters and environments, Kierra delves into themes of sisterhood, motherhood, memory, and identity. Her visual world is rich with symbolism—textured hairstyles, glowing palettes, and surreal forms that evoke both resilience and vulnerability.

Kierra is also the founder of Southside Cleanup NFP, an organization dedicated to environmental justice, civic engagement, and community pride on Chicago’s South Side. As an author, she has published two books—Flourish and To the Angel in the Room—each offering poetic insight into her journey as an artist, woman, and advocate.

Her work is a continuous offering—a space where stories are felt, spirits are honored, and Black women are seen in all their depth.
